Beltane Blessings from the heart of Glastonbury! I hope you are having a beautiful month of May so far, and finding time to appreciate the floral scents and vibrant colours of nature as Summer sweetly informs us that she is on her way. 



I am still reeling in the after glow of last month's Grail weekend event at St Benedict's church, where we gathered to share the sacred mythic lore of the grail and express that through music. We are still in the process of editing videos, and I look forward to sharing those once they are ready for anyone who would like to get a taste of the experience. For those in Glastonbury, or those who may be travelling here this month I have a few events coming up in the coming weeks:

Saturday 16th May: Vocal Alchemy Workshop, beginners & experienced singers welcome!
Friday 22nd May: Ruhiya & Friends, Original & Sufi Music including participatory chants
Thursday 28th May: Portal for Peace, sound journey & chanting, with Oyu
Saturday 30th May: The Songbird Sessions concert with Ruhiya & Sarah Curtis





And some exciting news-

This weekend I officially begin recording my second solo album! This journey has been about 3 years of writing and refining these songs.. so I am really excited to get in the studio. 

It is not an easy time to be an artist, I won't even mention AI for now.. but let's just say things were dismal enough for musicians with the invention of streaming, and now they're even harder! My hope is that this superficiality leads to a return to analog sound and the live experience of real resonant instruments and warm, soulful human voices. 

If you are a fan of my music and would like to support the making of this album, I have set up a digital pre-order of the album on my website. If you are feeling particularly generous and abundant, and would like to make a larger contribution, you can buy multiple copies, or you can message me for a custom amount. Every little helps to fund this project and get the music out sooner! <3

The concert on May 22nd is also a bit of an album fundraiser (and birthday celebration, which is on the 11th). Everyone who purchases a ticket for that event will also receive a digital copy of the album- which will include not only the MP3s but a digitally designed special edition lyric book. I am intending to later have CDs, Vinyl and merchandise available for this release.
