Ruhiya is a Glastonbury-based singer-songwriter whose music weaves yearning melodies, rhythmic chant, and heavenly strings. This concert will be a preview of the music from her second album, an album inspired by the land of Avalon. Steeped in Christian mysticism and including Aramaic chants; the songs explore themes of land, pilgrimage, the path of divine love, the feminine, the chalice, and the holy grail.
Held within St Margaret’s Chapel—known to many as the Magdalene Chapel—this intimate candlelit performance will invite listeners into a place between prayer and performance, co-creating a sanctum of remembrance, and journeying deep into the Heart.
As the chapel is a small venue, places are limited and advance booking is essential.
Special guests TBC.
