Celebrating Women's Day with a New Song

Happy International Women's Day!

On this snowy day in England, I am feeling grateful to be able to share with you a song I wrote more than a decade ago called Dancing with Angels

I wrote this song after reading the incredible book Half the sky by Sheryl WuDunn and Nicholas Kristof, and about the oppression of women worldwide, which was both a harrowing and hopeful read. The song was also inspired by the stories of women close to me who have experienced abuse.

This live acoustic version of the song was recorded at Hellens in Herefordshire, with my friend Jakey Boy Hughes playing the guitar and singing backing vocals.

Many thanks to the amazing team who helped make this happen:

Videography - Joe Singh at Snaprockandpop, UK.

Audio Engineering - Matthew and Paul at Mu-Mu Recordings, UK.

Audio Mixing and Mastering - Stoyan Stoyanov Storn at VST Records Dubai.

You can also stream this song on all major music platforms including Spotify

Thank you for listening!
