Autumn Greetings
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you all in good spirits and hope that you have had a beautiful Summer season.
I have just returned from a quick trip to Egypt where I was meeting some friends I completed a two year spiritual study course with online. It was my first time visiting Egypt, and like many of us I imagine, I have been fascinated by its mysterious history since I was child. (If I am honest, I return ever perplexed having been to Saqqara and the Great Sphinx!)
It was a great opportunity to bring along my baby Celtic harp and initiate her in the atmosphere of a land where some of the earliest harps originated. We played around the fire in the desert, on a little horse in the desert, and even to some security guards with rifles by their side.
As some of you know, we had the launch of music collective Universerai last month with a special concert at Colet House in London. It was an inspiring evening with a beautiful group of people, so thank you to all who joined us both in person and online. Video clips to follow once edited :)
My next live concert will be on Saturday 29th November at St Margaret's (Magdalene) chapel, for Mystic Songs & Mantra with my friend John Walkate. After a really special concert there together last year, we look forward to seeing some familiar and hopefully some new faces too!
Here is the link to tickets.
And from wherever you are, I invite you to join me for offering an online series of Sound & Silence on Wednesdays from October 29th to December 17th. These sessions will be offered by donation and will be a 45 minute guided meditation of breath, meditation and sound healing. If you would like to join me, message me on hello@ruhiya.com for the zoom link and more details.
Thank you as always for your support!
With Love,
Ruhiya
